LUXURY TRAVEL BUTLER has found a unique Masseria (Masseria: a fortified farm house in southern Italy) in Sicily. It’s considered to be one of Eastern Sicily's most beautiful Masseria. It was built in the 17th century and is located on the eastern coast of Sicily just between Catania and Siracusa.
The propery sleeps up to 24 persons. The property is surrounded by 250 acres (100 hectars) of beautiful olive and orange groves and has just undergone a complete refurbishment.
Its well tended garden features large and small fountains and an exotic bird cage, all inspired by the Arabic gardens of Morocco and Spain.
Its stylish swimming pool and shaded outdoor dining area are to be enjoyed together with an indoor spa, Turkish bath, sauna and whirlpool, always available at all times for guests.
Baroque towns of Sicily
Terrebianche is the ideal location from which to discover the many beaches and wonderful baroque towns of southern Sicily.
Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa, Modica and the famous WWF nature reserve of Vendicari are all easy day trips. This villa is fully staffed and the cook will prepare mouth-watering Sicilian traditional food.
Cooking tour programme offered by the Masseria
Day 1:
Arrival at Fontanarossa Airport (Catania) and transfer to the Masseria.
Welcome lunch or welcome dinner.
Day 2:
Breakfast and visit of Siracusa; the historical market of Ortigia and visit to Caseificio Borderi.
Lunch in Siracusa and, in the afternoon, return to the Masseria.
At 5 pm, cooking course (Sicilian food).
You will enjoy dinner that you have prepared yourself.
Day 3:
Breakfast and visit of Catania and its surroundings.
Lunch in Catania.
At 5 pm, cooking course (Sicilian food) at the Masseria.
You will enjoy dinner that you have prepared yourself.
Day 4:
Breakfast and visit to Ragusa Ibla, Modica and the surroundings.
Lunch in Siracusa.
At 5 pm, cooking course (Sicilian food) in at the Masseria.
