Born at the Belgium coast, I have always had a thirst for travel and adventure. And for collecting travel memories: snowmobiling on the glaciers of Iceland, trekking to the Artic Circle, climbing the Chinese Wall, city-hopping in Australia, jungle tours in Guatemala, reindeer safaris in Lapland, romance in Venice, Christmas magic in Tallinn, exploring Panama City, snorkeling in Fiji, volcano trekkings in Costa Rica, water skiing in Mauritius, camel trekkings in Egypt, gastrovisits to Lisbon, tribal meetings in Namibia, desert nights in Oman, violin concerts in Budapest, taxi experiences in India, Singapore slings, Malaysian islands and so much more.    
 
This travel experience has given me a global view on the tourism business, which is very useful for my job. I am specialised in two niche markets: luxury travel & conference/incentive tourism.

Concerning my experience in the conference & incentive segment, I am working as managing director of the marketing & communication agency THEPLANNER.be, highly specialised in business tourism.

I'm Filip's brother and born at the Belgium coast as well in Knokke-Heist. I think we've got the thirst of travel very early through our father who has seen half of the globe on the many business trips he did.

Through my job as a sales & business development professional, I had the opportunity to travel and see something of the world. Having 10 years of experience in sales & marketing, I had the opportunity to get involved in the commercial start-up of a spin-off company of the VUB back in 1997.

Since a couple of years now, I have been enjoying my passion: Internet & interactive marketing.

I used to work as a senior SEO consultant at iProspect Belgium, part of the Isobar network. Currently I hold a position as a Sales Consultant at The Reference, a leading Belgian web agency and part of the Emakina network.
