Cars are not alowed on the caldera side, but one can park about a minute away from the access path down to the house. From the main access point it is less than 2 minutes walk down the caldera steps ( for this reason it is not recommended for people with mobility problems or very young children).

There are two swimming locations within walking distance Armeni and Amoudi bay, where you can
enjoy swimming in crystal clear blue green waters, or you can drive to one of the popular black sand beaches of Santorini like Kamari, Perivolos, Perissa or the Red or white beach and many more.
A map of the island will be given to you in your welcome basket. Fira, the capital is about 15 minutes away by car and airport about 30 minutes.
